Nicolas Burdisso

Nicolas Burdisso could appear for Roma’s first team without having had a training session, as the Giallorossi prepare for their clash with Genoa tonight.

However, according to Francesco Totti, his arrival in the Eternal City is vital for the Lupi.

“He is a good defender and a tough player,” Totti told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

“He will really be of use to us and will give us a hand,” ‘Il Capitano’ continued.

“I have not seen Genoa’s cup game against Odense [in the Europa League] but I know that they are a good team. It is never easy on this pitch, we will have to be careful.”
