Surgical Marathon in Sofia

Again I travelled to Sofía to help Dr. Kalchev with his learning curve with the Greenlight HPS laser for the treatment of BPH. In a weekend we did 13 operations and operated patients with prostates of all sizes... Everyone of them left the clinic the morning after the operation. 

It was a surgical marathon, but we also had some time to enjoy. Dr. Kalchev showed me the video of an interview that was broadcasted by the Bulgarian National TV, they have published it in their webiste. The introduction of the Greenlight HPS laser in Bulgaria has generated an immense interest. My daughters came with me to Bulgaria this time, and they had a great time getting to know Sofia.

The word LSS will be changed soon.

Today Lss Thalaivan Silambarasan has said that his famous title Little Super Star is up for change as fans where not interested to see the little there. It is said that there are 2 to 3 names that are into consideration, which were kept by the fans.

Flash trip to Boston

This was a flash trip to Boston. I had to meet there with Mr. Gordon Muir, from London, and Shahin Tabatabei, from Boston, to discuss some common projects related with prostatic surgery. I took the photos with my mobile, for some reason they looked pink!

I only spent a night there and I returned in a direct flight to Madrid. I landed in Madrid and went straight to my clinic, to work, a little tired.

Vtv as Naatho Raa in telugu.

VTv Starring our Thalaivan Lss Silambarasan is remade with Nag Chaitanya "son of nag arjuna" in Telugu. This is a known information and we reported that earlier. But now they have fixed the name for the movie and it is titled Naatho Raa.. "ennudan vaa".

The movie will release along with VTv in the month of February. And the audio is expected for December end or as a new year present to the music buffs and fans.

Surgery in Gran Canaria

Again I travelled to Gran Canaria to operate with Dr. Juarez del Dago. In this ocassion he invited me to give him a hand with a patient with a huge sized prostate. The operation was very succesful, and we had a chance to talk after a "long time no see".

The following day I went back to Madrid, I had to connect with a flight to Boston.

Silambarasan is back in Chennai after a month long shoot and holiday in US.

He has completed Gautham Menon’sVinnaithandi Varuvaaya in New York and what remains is some patch work in Chennai.
Quiz him on where he was all this while, Simbu says: “ I headed straight to Vegas for a break and from there, I went to Los Angeles scouting for new makeup techniques for my next film, Valiban for which I will have an all-new look”.

On why he is going slow, he says: “I am not in a hurry. It just happened that I didn’t have any film in 2009. But you can see a lot of me in 2010, as I will be doing three films- VTV will be my first release. I am doingValiban, a project with Bhoopathy Pandian for Lingusamy and discussions are on for films with KV Anand and Venkat Prabhu”. "And guys this is the big director we said in Simbucentral".


Simbu also confirms that he is starting Valiban a romantic film by December 4 in Chennai. In fact, he has two different looks in the film for which he did a mock photo-shoot which we had again posted way back.

It is also said that our Lss will do an other movie with Gowtham Menon and that it will be a Action movie this time.  It is said our Lss is busy till mid 2011 and its all a bonanza package for the fans. III Urology meeting for primary care physicians and urology residents

Shortly after my arrival from Taiwan I participated in this scientific meeting invited by Dr. Juan Carlos Ruiz de la Roja.

Dr. Ruiz de la Roja is an old friend and colleague and maybe the most relevant communicator of urology in Spain, after publishing his two books: Hablemos de tu próstata y Potencia tu vida sexual, consejos de un médico.

In this meeting urologists and primary care physicians interact and we communicate recent advances and advice for the management of urological patients in the primary care setting. My role was to discuss the use of the greenlight HPS laser in Urology.
