Surgeries in Vitoria

This time I went to Vitoria in the north of Spain to help Dr. Javier Extramiana and Dr. Alberto Marquina with their first experience with the GreenLight XPS 180 watt laser. We did two operations that were very successful. Then I came back to Madrid very fast, I had to operate that evening.

STR Honors the Dance Crew of Street Dance 3D.

Street Dance 3D which was released last month was loved by all the people who fancied dancing. And it is no mere co incidence that Silambarasan loves it. The movie was released in 3D and it was the first time that a dance movie is screened this way. Silambarasan who watched the movie got inspired with it and called the Dance crew of the Film for a Special Dinner in order to honour them for their work.

The movie is getting released in India later this Diwali. Seems our Silambarasan is leaving a new way of supporting people with talents in a Industry which is auto crated.

Surgeries in Fundació Puigvert

This morning I went to Fundació Puitvert, invited to assist Dr. Montlleó and Dr. Ponce de León with their first contact with the GreenLight XPS. We did two operations that went wonderfully and everyone was amazed to see the speed of vaporization of this new laser, and how this speed is maintained throughout the procedure. Then I came back to Madrid to prepare my luggage to fly to the USA.

Congress of the Italian Urological Society

In this ocassion I went to Milán to participate in a symposium on GreenLight that took place during the Congress of the SIU (Societá Italiana de Urología).

I presented the new GreenLight XPS laser and I had to talk about GreenLEP (Greenlight laser enucleation of the prostate), that generated a lot of interest.

I Learned that I have received invitations to participate in various congresses this year.... It is going to be a busy year. When the symposium finished, I went out for dinner and took a plane to Barcelona.

Vaanam Audio Launch Postponed.

The mega audio launch of producer Ganesh's and STR Silambarasan's  ambitious film Vaanam scheduled to take place in London today (October 18) has been postponed.

The film is a remake of director Krish's Telugu hit Vedam and the multi-starrer has Silambarasan, Bharath, Prakash Raj, Anushka, Vega, Sneha Ullal and Sonia Aggarwal.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is providing music for the film was supposed to launch the audio with a single track in London. A 20- member team of the lead cast and technicians including special invitees Gautham Menon and Trisha were supposed to fly from Chennai to Heathrow in London on Friday night.

Unfortunately some members were denied visa by the British consulate on the day of travel. Producer Ganesh who spearheaded the entire tour plan is now working out another date, which is convenient to everyone.

Thalaivan STR Silambarasan, who is already in London for the shooting of Poda Podi told "guys the single relese date has been pushed since yuvan has not yet finished the song fully and the visa for the crew is comin only on tuesday .. will let u guys know the the date ... sorry guys :("

Trip to Bulgaria

Again I travelled to Bulgaria to perform more surgeries. In this session we operated 12 patients from friday to sunday. All of them had huge prostates. We did 11 enucleations that went very smoothly. Dr. Kalchev confirmed later that all patients were alright.

I am working on the concept of performing an en-bloc enucleation of the adenoma, and not in two or three pieces. Almost all enucleations in this session were en-bloc. The great advantage of this attitude is that it is extremely fast. In some of these patients the enucleation time was under 30 minutes. Of course, later on one has to proceed to morcellate the adenoma, that also takes time depending of its size.

A very interesting and nice surgical session. On Monday morning I flew to Milan, to participate in a symposium of the Italian Urological Society.

Daniel Radcliff obsessed in chocolates

The 21 year old actor, Daniel Radcliff, who acted in the role of Harry Potter written by J.K. Rowling, is mad about having a chocolate once a day. He just cannot resist himself going to his favourite confectionary shop each day and buy himself a Cadbury Flake chocolate bar. His reason to such an act is that he needs to take one everyday and at times two when he is very much stressed or if it is on a special occasion. His mind turns towards sweets when under great pressure. Daniel is obsessed with cheap chocolates. At first he used to have Mars Bars but then he switched to Cadbury Flakes. He says that costly things are just spent on him. He has recently finished working on the last Harry Potter series which is Harry Potter and Deathly Hollows and admits that he is rather anxious about his future undertakings.

Vaanam Singles Launch on 18th October.

The most expected Film of this year from the acting of Silambarasan Tesingu Rajendar @ Thalaivan STR has been wrapped up of shooting. The Film has raised more expectations as for the first time they are launching a Single of the Film with much Fan Fare.

With Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the Music, all the Fans are expecting something really big and both STR and Yuvan have Promised to deliver the same. The Singles launch is taking place on 18th October at London.

All the star cast including Anoushka, Sneha Ullal, Bharath, Saranya and the ace Music Director are attending the launch. Podaa Podi team which is already in here are attending as well.

The Producer VTV Ganesh, has ensured that the show would be a off a very Grand nature and he has invited Trisha, Allu Arjun and many of the other Star Celebrities.

The entire organising crew is very busy to give the best hospitality and to ensure that the launch is very successful. Last we heard is that, there will be a separate audio launch of the Film later next month at Chennai.
