World Congress on Controversies in Urology, Paris, France

This weekend I went to Paris to participate in the IV World Congress on Controversies in Urology. I participated in a symposium on GreenLight Laser treatment for BPH. It was very interesting and there was a lot of participation from the public. Paris was wonderful, as always, but it was freezing.

This photo shows us just before the symposium, with Drs Bachmann (Basel), Reich (Munich), Alivizatos (Athens) y Thomas (UK).

Then I returned to Madrid, I got a terrible cold in Paris ;-(

Helen Hunt is seriously concerned for future !!!

Helen Hunt and her husband Mathew Camahan raise their daughter Makena Lei Gordon Camahan together but the future of the girl lies in the hands of her mother. She does not wish her child to be a star at this tender age.

She remarks that, “She would like her daughter to be at school as she was. Helen wishes Makena to go through all the years and have a normal life and friends. Besides, Helen never herself was a child star so why should her daughter be by wasting her life so tender”.

Helen goes on that, “At Makena’s age, if she ever wants to act, she would allow her to join theatre which has got to do with school or a kid’s improvisational matter.

Helen does not consider this luxurious life suitable for her little child. It would not have good impact on the young life and especially on the brain. This is an adult world and she would not want any effect taking place on the young mind.

Helen would obviously love her Makena to be placed in that spot, however, there are other ways by which Makena could fulfill her dream of acting without having her to face sixty other adults. ”

Jeff Timmons fighting with his bad luck !!!

Jeff Timmons from the 98 Degree band “had been arrested while driving recklessly drunken and in the absence of a driving license” according to Brevard County sheriff’s officials.

As per to another source, we are informed that, “Timmons was dragged out from his white Mercedes car on the 23 of April after spotting him to drive at a surpassing speed in a zone of 45 mph zone”. The source also tells that, “Timmons, of thirty-three years old, was out of the town and he did not have his license.

His eyes looked unfocused after confessing that he drunk a lot but later he reported of only two beers”. However, the crime was not only performed

Kelly Preston is unaware of upcoming risk

Kelly Preston was not aware of the risks of having another child at this old age. Forty-eight years old, Kelly had brought Benjamin to world with her husband John Travolta in November last year. She admits tha

Her brother's name is Ron, and her sister's name is Karen. Michelle started skating when she was five after watching her brother play hockey. She started competing at age seven. In 1991 at age eleven, Michelle and her sister moved to Lake Arrowhead, California to train more seriously. They shared a cabin there called the Debi Thomas Teepe. Luca Toni, (born 26 May 1977 in Pavullo nel Frignano, Modena) is an Italian World Cup-winning footballer who is currently playing for Serie A club Juventus.[2] He has had successful spells at top clubs such as Palermo, Fiorentina, Bayern Munich and Roma. Toni is highly regarded for his goal scoring ability as can be seen by his prolific goals to games ratio at many of his clubs.

His style is at times seen as being unorthodox, however his strength and power have seen him become one of Serie A's most lethal finishers of the past decade. As well as the medals he has collected he has also won several individual honours including the Capocannonieri for the 2005–06 season in which he scored 31 goals

Toni started his professional career at Modena. This was followed by a number of seasons spent around Serie B and Serie C1 with teams such as Empoli, Fiorenzuola and Lodigiani. After a Serie B season with Treviso in 1999, he moved to Vicenza Calcio, playing in Serie A for the first time. He then moved to Brescia Calcio, playing for two seasons alongside Roberto Baggio. In 2003 he agreed to join ambitious Serie B club Palermo, being one of the main factors behind the winning team campaign that brought the Rosanero back to Serie A after over 30 years, thanks to a record 30 goals scored during the season. He consequently gained his first cap for the Italian national team in a friendly match 18 August 2004 lost 2–0 to Iceland in Reykjavík which also marked Marcello Lippi's debut at the helm of the azzurri.
In the following season, Toni confirmed his prolificity by scoring an impressive 20 goals in Palermo's first Serie A campaign, leading the Sicilian club to a historical first qualification to the UEFA Cup.

Toni's move to Fiorentina was marked by controversy as the fans dubbed him a traitor for his departure.
During his first season in Florence he scored an incredible 31 goals, making him one of the most prolific Serie A strikers of all time (the most goals ever scored in a season being 35), this was the first time in 50 years that a Serie A player had scored more than 30 goals. His goal scoring ability brought Fiorentina to heights never seen since the late 1990s when Gabriel Batistuta was playing for them. They clinched 4th spot and qualified for the Champions League.
However, this league position was revoked in the courts during the Calciopoli scandal. Italian courts recognized Fiorentina as culpable of shady dealings and convicted them to start the 2006–07 season with a 19 point deduction. Toni expressed his desire to leave the team several times during the summer to the press, but was eventually convinced by club president Andrea Della Valle to stay and help the club overcome its unfavourable position.

The following season was plagued by injury, limiting Toni's goals to a less considerable, albeit impressive 16 goals. This was Luca Toni's final season at the Florence club, as they agreed to sell him to Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich. Before he left, Toni promised Della Valle not to sign for any big Italian clubs, which is believed to be the main reason he went to Germany.

On 30 May 2007, Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed that Toni had signed a four year contract with the club after agreeing to a deal worth €11 million with Fiorentina. Gina Carano is the daugher of Glenn Carano and Dana Cason. Given that her father was the backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 1977-83 and started a season for the USFL’s Pittsburgh Maulers, one can’t be surprised to know that she became an outstanding athlete herself; it’s simply in her genes. But the fact that the woman they call “Conviction” became the most popular female mixed martial arts fighter in America sure wasn’t expected.
After all, female MMA is a relatively new thing.

Before Fighting:
Carano graduated from Trinity High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she helped lead her high school basketball team to a state championship. She also attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for three years as a psychology student.
Martial Arts Background:
Carano has a background in Muay Thai kickboxing, having trained under the legendary Master Toddy. She holds a professional record of 12-1-1 in Muay Thai, a striking style that emphasizes the use of the clinch, elbows, punches, kicks, and knees.
She made the transition over to MMA on June 10, 2006, defeating Leiticia Pestova by first round knockout.

Fighting Style:
Carano clearly prefers to stand up and strike with her adversaries, utilizing the Muay Thai kickboxing skills from her background. She is also an outstanding athlete that uses athleticism and strength to her advantage. Along with this, she hits hard.
Carano has improved her ground skills to the point that she defeated Tonya Evinger by rear naked choke in September of 2007. She also possesses solid takedown defense.
Interesting Facts:
When Carano and Julie Kedzie fought in February of 2007 on the Showtime Network, it was the first time that two females had appeared in a boxing or MMA fight on the network.
Carano served as a mentor to aspiring female kickboxers on the Oxygen reality television show, Fight Girls.
